Vision / Philosophy

Health is our most valuable commodity, and your employees are your business' most valuable resource.
Healthy and happy employees lead to better productivity, an improved bottom line, and reduced absenteeism and presenteeism.
Promoting health and wellness in the workplace is essential for business success. Investing in your physical and mental wellbeing, as well as that of your employees, are key to decreasing the cost and burden of unhealthy and unhappy employees.
Preventing lifestyle diseases and promoting happiness ensures we decrease the chance of developing obesity, diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and cancer. These lifestyle diseases are the major causes of death in New Zealand and can be prevented through regular exercise, healthy eating, quality sleep, and stress management.
Did You Know
Ninety percent of all deaths in New Zealand are linked to lifestyle choices.
Increased mortality rates are related to factors such as alcohol consumption, smoking vaping, poor nutrition, insufficient physical activity, and environmental influences.
Did You Know
Heart disease is the number one killer in New Zealand and is up to 80% preventable.

Why Wellness in the Workplace?
Employees are a business's most valuable resource, and are essential for a company’s productivity and success. Investing in their wellness leads to a healthier, more productive workforce.
Team Culture
Happy, healthy staff boost productivity. Unhappy employees can disrupt team dynamics, and unnecessary absences strain the team, lowering morale and effectiveness. A positive culture keeps employees satisfied, creating a cycle of positivity that benefits both home and work.
Reduce costs
Absenteeism leads to direct costs such as wages for absent employees, overtime for current staff, and temporary hires, often with lower productivity. Indirect costs include reduced team morale, lower job satisfaction, and higher turnover. These inefficiencies cut organisational output, increase healthcare costs, and weaken economic competitiveness.
It is fair to say businesses cannot afford not to.
